KOI LAND LAKE

Koiland Lake has not been open for business for 3 years and only reopened in the beginning of 2016 for carp fishing. The lake is roughly 6 ha in size and stands out for its fast-growing koi carp population of 450 fish of various weights. The chance for many to catch a pb carp are given by a good head of big carp going up to 35 kg. The water level of the lake is dependent on the ground springs that feed the lake. It can vary from 6 to 8,5m from May to September and from 4 to 6,5m from October to April. 20kg fish are common to catch in Koiland Lake. The owner estimates around 450 fish going from 18 to 25kg. Except swim 9 all swims are double swims, some of them feature a platform. Even though all swims are laid out for 2 anglers, they can be booked also as singles by paying a higher fee. 3 rods are allowed and must be cast or placed with the use of a remote bait boat. Boats are only allowed on lake exclusive bookings (see the box). The swims are also nice and shady for the summer months. The whole area is fenced, and the car can be left on your swim except for swim 4 where you can drive to the swims to unload and load your gear but then the car must be parked in the car park. Toilets and showers are available as well as charging points for electronical devices. At the Lake are no Cooler and Freezer, so please in Summertime take your own. Dogs are welcome. The owner of the dog is responsible for his dog.
